A special exhibition is to be held with a focus on Saga's art, technology and history. The atelier of Saburōsuke Okada, master of modern western painting, will also be relocated from Ebisu, Tokyo and open to the public.

In the Meiji Restoration period, the predecessors being engaged in the separation of pharmacy and the development of the pharmaceutical industry at the transitional phase from oriental medicine to western medicine addressed the serious challenge of various tasks with aspirations, efforts and cooperation. The introduction will let you familiarize with the process how they overcame the difficulties.

Planning of a plan exhibit is in progress with the theme of civil engineering heritage, civil engineering technology and others that have supported our livelihood since the Meiji restoration period. This is an experience-based rotating exhibit where creators collaborate with experts of civil engineering. The charm of civil engineering will attract people widely from adults to children.

It is a plan exhibit that you can enjoy while experiencing the technology PR of companies in the prefecture inheriting the Saga’s climate boasting state-of-the-art technology at the Bakumatsu-Meiji period, and the state-of-the-art technology supporting manufacturing in the future.
