Holland House

10 months to talk about Saga and the Netherlands with design as the common theme.

The introduction of technology of the West by Saga made an opportunity for the Netherlands to lead the generation. Furthermore, in order to deepen the exchange with the country, Saga built a "Holland House" designed by creators of the Netherlands and Saga with the theme of design, waterfront, foods, etc. to hold exhibitions and events at the waterfront.

Gallery 1
An introduction includes the history of exchange between Saga prefecture and the Netherlands and town-building through land reclamation, etc. and also collaboration projects accomplished so far by Saga Prefecture and the Netherlands.

Gallery 2
The future of the waterfront of Saga will be on display including the scenery and activities of the waterside of Saga and the Netherlands on the theme of "Creek / Waterside."

Gallery 3
Dutch creators will stay long in Saga and implement artist-in-residence for their creative activities. Dutch creators’ plan exhibit is scheduled to be held.

You can purchase Netherlands design products and Netherlands miscellaneous goods.

Waterfront terrace

Programs are available for you to enjoy waterfront such as ship traveling, marche and movies.
